The Seymour Duncan SH-13 Dimebucker is a blade-style humbucker designed for the extremely high output of the aggressive metal sounds its namesake was known to sling. Needless to say, we're talking about none other than the king of metal here: Dimebag Darrel. The Texas-born guitarist who rose to fame as he played tight riffs and dished out scorching solos in legendary metal bands like Pantera and Damage Plan. Since it's perfect for ripping solos when it's mounted in the bridge position, Darrel used to partner it up with a Seymour Duncan '59 Bridge to drop his sonic bombs.
The Design of the Seymour Duncan SH-13 Dimebucker
The Dimbucker is built up around a powerful ceramic magnet that combines with stainless steel blades to shape rock-hard, crunching tone. Boasting higher output than the SH-8 Invader, the SH-13 is more aggressive and packs both more bite and more brightness while, at the same time, it's exceptionally dynamic and offers a punchy low-end response. In terms of mounting, the Dimebucker is compatible with any electric guitar - even models with Trembucker string-spacing.

Geweldig ding er komt een strak en heavy metalgeluid uit. Hij is perfect voor pinch harmonics, divebombs, harmonic squels etc. Maar als je toch op zoek bent naar een echt Dimebag geluid zul je meer dan alleen deze pickup aan moeten schaffen zoals versterkers/pedalen. Maar hij stelt zeker niet teleur want er komt een fantastisch geluid uit dit ding.

bon micro pour ceux qui aime les sonorités agressives avec une harmonie riche en treble .
un peu trop de treble à mon goût. sinon bon pour les solos.
